A new era for Practice Management Systems®

After 38 years inside dental practices, the work we do has scaled to the point where the platform around it needed to scale too. Here’s what we just shipped — and what comes next.

If you’ve worked with us at any point over the last two decades, you know the rhythm: a call, an honest conversation about the numbers, a visit to the practice, then the slow steady work of changing what the team says, how the schedule is built, and the language at financial arrangements. That work doesn’t change. What we just changed is the platform around it.

The new practice-sys.com went live this week. So did the private client portal, the full A.L.I.G.N.™ course in pre-sale, the first chapters of Four Minutes and Seventeen Seconds in a browser-readable format, and a brand-new internal business management dashboard built specifically for how we run our days. All of it lives on a foundation we built in partnership with NW eSource, a Portland-based AI engineering firm that has been quietly building the kind of operations infrastructure most consulting businesses can’t access without an in-house engineering team.

What’s live today

A redesigned website that finally matches the work. Cleaner, more focused, faster on mobile, and structured around the way practices actually find and evaluate us — from search, from a referral, from someone who read the book and wants the team trained on the same language.

A private client portal at practice-sys.com/my/. Free chapters of the book, the first two course lessons, and a place for ongoing clients to access the materials we send them between sessions. Magic-link sign-in, no passwords. Designed to grow with the rest of the program as it expands.

The A.L.I.G.N.™ Course is in pre-sale — 20% off all tiers (Foundation, Essential, Premium) for the launch window. Lessons 1 and 2 are ready to study today; remaining lessons unlock automatically as David finalizes each. Pre-sale price is locked for life — an actual commitment, not a marketing phrase.

A note about the technology partner

NW eSource is the firm that built the platform behind all of this. They specialize in AI-assisted business infrastructure for consultants, agencies, and professional practices who want what the largest companies have without hiring the engineering team to build it. Worth a look if you’ve ever wished your business ran on something more capable than spreadsheets and disconnected tools.

The dashboard behind the scenes

The part nobody sees from the outside is the business management dashboard we’ve been building alongside the website. It’s where Tammy and David run the day-to-day — from lead capture through onboarding through ongoing client management. Without going into the full feature set publicly, here’s the shape of it:

The point isn’t the features. The point is that we now spend our time doing the coaching work instead of cobbling together the eight different tools we used to use to run the business around it.

What’s coming next

The course lessons 3 through 26 will continue unlocking over the next few months. We’re adding a treatment-acceptance workshop, a hygiene-department optimization track, and a series of conversation-design templates that ongoing clients have been asking for. There’s also a peer-cohort program in early planning for practice owners who want to run through A.L.I.G.N.™ alongside a small group of non-competing colleagues. If any of that lands for you, the easiest way to be first in line is the free assessment — we’ll let people in our system know first.

The strongest practices are built through better people — not better systems alone. The systems are what let the people do their best work.

Working with NW eSource

A word about the firm that built this. We’ve known of NW eSource for a while, but the speed at which they put this whole platform together — in partnership with us, listening to how we actually work — is the reason we’re mentioning them by name. Most dental practices, dental groups, and small-to-mid consulting practices are running on a stack that’s ten years behind what’s possible today. If you’ve ever felt like your tools are slowing you down rather than speeding you up, they’re worth a conversation. They take on a small number of partners at a time, and they don’t need to be sold — if you’re ready, you’ll know within the first call.

If you’re a dental practice owner reading this, we’d encourage the same thing we always have: start with the assessment. Nothing has changed about how we think about that first conversation. We just have a better platform underneath it now.

Ready for a conversation?

Whether you’re a dental practice considering working with us — or another business curious about the platform behind it — we’d love to talk.
